Banner Ads

The following ads are examples of banner advertisements I've executed while employed at Tag Worldwide.

CAMPAIGN: State Farm - Would You Rather
This campaign was a fun one to work one. Based on storyboards provided by State Farm's ad agency, I created animations to transform objects that fun activities, such as the basketball and hoop here, into a clipboard.

CAMPAIGN: McDonald's - Think With Your Mouth
McDonald's and their ad agency were going for a retro look for their recent Big Mac campaign, so I found a retro TV effect to implement in Actionscript and combined that with abrupt text animation to create the feel they wanted.

CAMPAIGN: DeVry University - Career Catalyst
We were provided storyboards for these banners, but I worked to get the animation of the pen and the moving calendar just right.

CAMPAIGN: State Farm - NBA 2012
Based on storyboards provided by State Farm's ad agency, I used frame-by-frame animation of a vector graphic in Flash to create the look of a 3D basketball spinning.

This is an another example from the Would You Rather campaign, in which I used tweening in Flash to transform a boombox into a clipboard.

Interactive Flash Projects

With other members of the TDI department at Tag, I executed the 2013 digital holiday card for Tag. The card is an interactive game that showcases the digital capabilities of our company, while incorprating its global platform. I worked on various aspects of this project, from brainstorming to creating some of the assets, but the majority of my contribution was developing the game, from functionality to animated transitions to troubleshooting.

Kids in the Kitchen is a Flash project created for the course Intermediate Multimeda at UNC-CH and Discovery Education. It is an interactive, educational module geared for elementary and middle school kids.

Going for Gold is a Flash project created for the course Intermediate Multimedia at UNC-CH. It is an interactive module that displays where Olympic medalists were born.

Curling is a Flash project created for the course Intermediate Multimedia at UNC-CH. It is an interactive, educational module outlining the Olympic sport of curling.

Web Design

URG Corporation

As URG's Web and Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant, I revamped the company's website. Most changes were made in the HTML and CSS of the Joomla template. Other changes were made to the structure and organization of the site; in addition, new features were added to make the site more user-friendly.

2012: The Race

A final multimedia project for which I designed a hub of information and resources for North Carolina voters, powered by WRAL.com. It is a one-page modular design that fits into the existing site but provides users with a wealth of resources for the 2012 election. Click here for the full storyboard PDF.

2012 Democratic National Convention Web Hub

A class project for which we had to design a 2012 Democratic National Convention web hub for The Charlotte Observer. The project I created is geared toward both attendees to the convention and individuals that cannot attend. Click here for the full storyboard PDF.

Eve Carson Scholarship

A website designed for the Eve Carson Scholarship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The site is used to represent and disseminate information about the scholarship to current students, scholars, alumni and the community. The site was built in Wordpress with help from members of the web.unc.edu team at UNC-Chapel Hill.
